The Cobb story

A fully portable 4.5kg oven, barbecue, smoker and stove that runs on a few BBQ beads is about as far away from the average backyard barbie as it gets.

For most households it’s enough. It will do a 2kg roast; barbecue for four; bake bread, cakes and desserts; smoke fish and chicken and handle all of the things we do in pots – stews, curries, casseroles, etc.

With the accessory Frying Dish – a pan/wok hybrid – it will do breakfast, stir-fry and a lot more. It’s a kitchen in a bag.

It’s also a product for our time. As far as we know it has the smallest carbon footprint of any manufactured oven on Earth. A family roast for around sixty cents in energy is amazing. Do that once a week and it will pay for itself in less than a year on what you’ll save by not using your kitchen oven.
